If you’re a smoker, having an outdoor ashtray in your backyard, patio, deck or porch is definitely a good idea.
If you own a business that attracts many smokers then having a cool ashtray outside your establishment might be beneficial to your business. If you don’t have one then people would definitely think twice about going to a building and having to step through a lot of discarded cigarette butts. By having an outdoor ashtray it will prevent litter, help preserve the environment and satisfy non-smokers.
I recommend having an outdoor ashtray that is easily noticeable and “in your face” as most smokers prefer to just throw away their cigarettes into the ground and ignore most small fixed ashtrays lying around.

You can choose a smokeless ashtray for outdoor or indoor purposes that will help reduce smoke spread in the atmosphere.
